Nisí

The Nisí are the dwellers of the island territories, blessed by the god Eqlios with the ability and expertise to catch fish and animals living around their living areas.

The Nisí choose their Psári by popular vote, and the Psári always inherits the Próta title by default when the former Próta dies, leaving their former rank to be filled by the next to be voted in.

They generally gravitate towards the worship of Eqlios and Naxiphine. valuing the daylight and the wisdom brought on by those two, but there are some who are devout followers of the other two known gods within their ranks. The Nisí are not very strict about the religion or belief of their members, they believe in the value of all cats among their fylí, and welcome outsiders regularly, making them the larger of the two groups.

They tend to be unconditionally kind and laid back, looking at life in a slower way and relaxing in comparison to their mountain-dwelling counterparts. They don't jump to attack quickly, and prefer to reason things out with words.

Their camp is situated on an island in the middle of the islands the Nisí call home. They've reinforced the beaches of the whole area, and they utilize the large space to hold their vast numbers, especially since they often get visitors. They used the surroundings to create the camp, a driftwood log, bushes, rocks, you name it, they used it. Overall, the camp is sturdy and the cats are happy and safe, the water creating a natural barrier against Oros' creations.

The Nisí only have one trial, for Initiates going to be Adepts. In this trial, the Psári gives all the incoming Adepts a swimming test to determine if they are fit enough to rank up. Once an Initiate passes this trial, there are no more for the rest of the rank ups.
